Marina+Sam’s wedding
Getting married outside, without a tent, on November 26th! It was actually one of the most beautiful ceremonies I have witnessed. It was about 58 degrees, with a slight breeze which was softly blowing through the remaining leaves on the trees. Amazing! Thanks Marina and Sam for letting me be a part of your day.
Marina and Sam
Went back to my old studio for Marina and Sam’s engagement shoot. Clipper Mill was the perfect location, it really fit their personalities. Thanks Marina and Sam for being so willing to walk through the mud and lean against rusty walls to make these great photos happen.
Anne+Ande
Gary and I had to share some of the great photos we shot from Anne and Ande’s wedding on August 20th. A big thank you to Alex and Courtney from Cherry Blossom Events for their great coordination of the day.

Kyra+Matt
Kyra and Matt were looking for more of a gritty feel to their portraits. So we decided to go to the railroad bridge instead of Georgetown. Thanks Kyra and Matt for a fun day of shooting. See you at your wedding in September.
Laurel+Eric 7.30.10
I wanted to share some fun images I took at the Capitol building from Laurel and Eric’s wedding. Then off to Top of the Town for the reception with a fantastic view of DC. Thanks Laurel and Eric for taking the time so we can get these amazing shots.
June 10,2010
It was worth getting up so early for Laurel and Eric’s engagement portraits. The fog had not yet lifted from the railroad tunnel, the light was beautiful, and the trains came by every 10 minutes. It was a fun way to spend the morning and capture some images that they will look back on and smile. The trip to the airport later that day had even more meaning, Laurel and Eric met at baggage claim so we decide to recreate the moment.
April 17th 2010
I knew when I first talked to Jill and Blaise on the phone that their wedding was going to be fun. They talked about all of the places in DC that meant something to them (where they had history). We decided to take pictures at all of these places on their wedding day, such as Capitol BBQ (where they first met), The Jefferson Memorial (their first kiss), The Capitol Building (where they got engaged), Granville Moore’s Pub (where they had their first date). Blaise then carried Jill over the threshold of their renovated row house in Capitol Hill. Thanks for including me in your day Jill and Blaise- I had a great time!
Photographing babies in the new studio- so much fun!
Associate Photographer
Here are some images by Matthew Worden, my awesome associate photographer.

The 2009 Anniversary shoot was so much fun we’re making it an annual event. What a great excuse to actually wear your dress again! Such an incredible day of wedding stories and Mimosas. We had a great group of women whose anniversaries ranged from 2002-2009. Next year even more.
The idea originated when thinking about my first shoot in our new studio. Thought it was a great way to keep in touch with my brides and to give them the opportunity to relive a little bit of their day even years later. My brides have been such beautiful subjects, how great to have them all together in one photo!
A big thank you to all the brides that participated and to Michelle Kurman make up artist, Leslie Furlong who assisted and took some of the production shots. And of course thank you to my awesome husband Gary Landsman garylandsman.com for constructing such an amazing studio.
Here are some of the production photos.
